[ normally togami would have been spoiled rotten for new years and thought very little of it—but there was none of that this year, and he can't stop thinking about what junko said about his family. he'd always thought of himself as being above them, but now that they're supposedly gone...
it's been weighing on him, to say the least. and a holiday without them has just reminded him again. the card from tsubasa comes as a surprise, especially because they only talked once. it makes him wonder what she wants from him, to be honest, but one of the first things he learned as a kid when it came to business sense was to respond to gifts with grace, no matter how suspicious they might be. ]

[Tomo's staying to true to her word and is going to get him a gift for the hopeful success of his new bank! Since Togami doesn't seem to be at home, she leaves a white kitten in a cardboard box with a pink card inside. It reads:]

I wish you good luck with your business and I hope you accept my gift. I picked him up because he looked so lonely and his eyes reminded me of yours!
I hope you learn how to take good care of it. Maybe he could even be the mascot for your business (haha~♥)

[ ... ugh. togami holds his device in his hands as he watches the cat begin to climb over his stuff like everything in togami's apartment is just his own personal playground. the nerve!
he is cute, though. and while he may be small, when he grows up he'd make a perfect supervillain lap cat. ]
He was behind my friend's spa! It took such a long time for him to warm up to me. Just getting him to eat something was difficult. [probably because it didn't like the smell of tomo's leftover cooking but eventually, it lost out]
He *likes* climbing on all of my stuff. I'll allow him to stay for three days. If he proves himself worthy of my time, you won't have to find him a new home.
